Project instructions

This seminar brings together what students have learned throughout their justice and peace studies, activities, internships and social service projections, and applies it to a project of their own choice negotiated with the professor through a learning contract. In carrying out that project, students will pay attention to the four steps of the circle of praxis. Results of the project are shared with the other members of the seminar. In addition, common topics studied include basic statistics needed to understand, judge, and use statistics responsibly; writings of key theoreticians in justice and peace studies; and an introduction to a broad range of organizations working for the relief of suffering and for structural and social change.
