Title:  PT 987-02 "Independent Study" NACBA Seminar (2 cr.) 

  1. Students interested in graduate credit and not currently a graduate degree student, must complete the School of Divinity Information Questionnaire and Student Payment Agreement.  Please include course numbers and title on the registration form.
  1. Students must submit a copy of undergraduate transcripts and a brief resume to be considered eligible for graduate credit.  Admission to graduate courses is granted by permission of the dean upon receipt of transcripts. (It is not necessary to have a bachelor's degree to receive graduate credit for this course.)
  1. Tuition payment is $80 ($40 per credit).  Students are also responsible for all seminar fees.  Checks should be made payable to The Saint Paul Seminary.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards.
  1. Please turn registration materials and tuition payment into the School of Divinity Registrar in Room 110 of the Administration Building.  Questions regarding this course may be directed to the NACBA Director or Coordinator (651-962-5050).
  1. Academic requirements for graduate credit:
  1. Attendance at all sessions.
  2. Completion of readings assigned by the dean or seminar advisor.  Reading assignments will ordinarily be made at the end of the seminar and will be geared to each student's needs.
  3. Completion of a summary paper synthesizing learning from the seminar and the reading (10-15 pages, type-written, double-spaced, due 8 weeks from the ending date of the seminar).
  1. Grades for this course are letter grades.  Grade reports will be mailed to students.
  1. The student must make requests for official transcripts of this course in writing directly to the University of St. Thomas Records Office in Aquinas Hall.
