PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
There are four basic steps in the process for participants:
- Watch the training videos (samples)
- Fill out and send questionnaire
- Participate in virtual meetings (sample)
- Participate in a consensus-building process (sample)
The seven sectors participating include:
- Academic
- Business
- Favela
- Judicial (Judges)
- Legal (Lawyers)
- Nonprofit
- Students

Meeting Room Directions for Participants:
Note: Macintosh users must use this software driver for their Apple camera. (Not doing so will result in the meeting room crashing.)
Before You Begin:
- Unplug any unnecessary hardware from your computer (USB devices, scanners, etc.).
- Restart your computer.
- Close any auto-run applications that may have started.
- Open your web browser and go to this URL to test your computer and network connection.
- If everything tests okay, follow the steps below. If not, please contact Ana Yepes at ayepes@unimet.edu.ve.
Entering the Meeting Room:
- Click here to enter the Blackboard system. (You'll be asked to enter your username and password.)
- Click "My Organizations."
- Click "International ADR Research Network."
- Click on your country’s name.
- Click on your sector.
- Click on “Link to Breeze Meeting Room.”
- Enter your username for the meeting, and click "Enter Room."
- The UST International ADR Research
Network meeting room will load. Do not remove any hardware from your
computer once you have entered the meeting room.
- Under the "Meeting" drop-down menu item, select "Audio Setup Wizard," and proceed through the steps.
- Wait for the host to have you start your camera.
- If you are asked to "allow" or "deny" access, select "allow."
Be considerate to others. Do not play with any of the windows ("pods"). During the meeting, only one person should speak at a time.
