Upcoming Events

Important Note: We will decide whether to cancel or postpone an event at least 3-4 hours prior to the start time. Our decisions are based on several weather forecasts as well as current satellite videos. Forecasts aren't perfect because Minnesota skies can change significantly within a couple of hours. Sometimes it's a tough call--we won't always get it right, but we'll do our best. We won't reverse our decision within the 3-4 hour lead time because people need to plan their evenings and because several hours of work go into the set-up and take-down of each event. Please stay tuned to updates below (be sure to refresh your browser). Thanks!

Description

We have completed our scheduled star parties for the fall semester and will resume them in the spring. Our next one for the public will probably be in late February or early March. We typically have three public star parties per semester.

(Note: Rich Schuler will be the contact person for the spring semester. Please email him if you have questions about the observatory.)
