Course SummaryThe course will introduce the concepts and processes of information security. We will start with a single computer system and expand the scope to encompass the LAN, distributed environments, and the Internet. Essential concepts include trust perimeters, access controls, and basic cryptography. |
PrerequisitesQMCS 230. MATH 128 or MATH 220. Waivers will be considered by the instructor for qualified students on a case by case basis. |
